24th September 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tuesday 24th September - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy. After yesterdays epic 50 mile windsurf foil on the River Orwell the cold certainly took a turn for the worse today, I had to go and order a new tyre for our van so took the opportunity of driving down ti Felixstowe Ferry to take a few drizzley pics to send to the TV weather. I did manage my exercises in the garden with Mag putting her pots away for the winter. Then after lunch Mag had to pick up a prescription from the Grove medical centre so we walked to Abbey Grove for a walk around the woods spotting the new footbridge leading to the large housing estate :( Then back through the town where Mag treated me to so yummy cream cakes from the Co – op which I enjoyed with a cuppa when we got home after mending Mags old wooden garden table. The weather looks unsettled now with rain and cold winds from the north, winter is looking one step closer:( Photo Album here |
